ONICON's F-4300 Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow Meter is the non-invasive approach to highly accurate hydronic flow measurement. Using an innovative design incorporating matched transducers and easy to use hardware, it is ideal for installations in existing systems when shutdowns are impractical. The F-4300 is designed for use with pipes ranging from ½” to 48”.

Ultrasonic Flowmeter - FP4400 Portable Clamp-On

ONICON's FP-4400 Portable Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow Meter utilizes clamp-on transducers to measure flow through the pipe wall via the transit time ultrasonic measurement principle. It is a battery operated flow meter specifically designed for use on a wide range of pipe sizes and can provide a full day of use on a single charge (an AC adapter is also provided for longer flow testing). The clamp on design does NOT require a system shutdown or penetration of the pipe in any way when installing and operating this meter. Instead, precision matched signal transducers are mounted on the pipe to accurately measure flow through the pipe wall. The rugged, handheld backlit display allows for easy set up via intuitive menus.

Typical Applications

The FP-4400 portable clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter is ideal for flow testing during test and balance. It is also useful for temporary flow monitoring in existing systems to establish baseline demand data.

Ultrasonic Flowmeter - F4600 Wetted Inline

ONICON's F-4600 Inline Flow Meters are designed to accurately measure the flow of water and water glycol solutions in small pipes. Meters are available for ½” – 2½” diameter pipes. The no-moving-parts design operates over a wide flow range with excellent low flow performance.

The low cost design is provided with threaded process connections, a 4-20mA analog output and a scaled dry contact pulse output for totalization.

*Optional integral LCD display with BACnet MS/TP or MODBUS RTU is available. LCD display can be mounted up to 5 feet away from flow body for visibility.

InnovaSonic®203 Economical Clamp-On Ultrasonic Water Flow Meter

The InnovaSonic 203 liquid flow meter is optimized for customers still looking for high performance, but needing a lower-cost, less feature-rich option for dedicated clamp-on ultrasonic metering. The 203 digital liquid flow meter optimizes the measurement of water as it flows in HVAC, irrigation and other liquid applications.

InnovaSonic® 210 Ultrasonic Portable Flow Meter

The InnovaSonic® 210 portable ultrasonic flow meter succeeds at delivering expanded functionality and field portability when a permanent installation is not required. The 210 is a complete liquid measurement kit with portable clamp-on transducers featuring a small handheld display interface with bright color display and push buttons. While principally designed for clean liquids, the 210 portable meter will operate effectively with the minimal quantity of air bubbles or suspended solids found in most industrial applications. Its high-powered ultrasonic pulse with improved digital signal processing requires just one set of transducers for a wide range of pipe sizes and materials including metal, plastic and concrete.

The handheld battery powered 210 is ideal for precisely measuring a wide range of liquid flows in pipes up to 236 inches (6000 mm).

Utilizing universal transit-time technology the 210 portable flow meter, hand-held flow meter measures the time it takes an ultrasonic signal to travel a known distance with the flow stream and another signal travelling against the flow stream, determining the velocity of the fluid being measured. The 210 measurement is independent of fluid conductivity to allow a wider applicability compared to magnetic meters.
